Estefanía Lamelas Martínez
Bachelor of Law at the University of Oviedo in 2010 and Expert in policies, investigation and intervention in social exclusion. After receiving the Professional Aptitude Certificate issued by the General Council of Spanish Bar Associations, she started her career in administrative law at the Oviedo City Hall: disciplinary proceedings, patrimonial responsibility and other judicial issues specific with legal counseling of a public local institution.
She continued her career path at the Cym Abogados Law Firm and in 2012 she became a member of the Bar Association. Her professional activity was dedicated to civil and criminal law, especially in gender violence and foreign affairs, but also in pre-litigation and litigation counseling, always seeking to offer a global and multidisciplinary service portfolio, adapted to each client’s needs and profile.
She has been a member of the Legal Fees Committee of the Bar Association of Oviedo since 2014.
Starting with 2015, she has joined GdP Legal as associate, specializing in civil law (matrimonial crises, disputes of inheritors and property distribution, debt reclamation and problems with homeowners' associations) and criminal law where she acts both as defending lawyer as well as accusation lawyer.
Finally, an important part of her law practice centers on the counseling and the defence of companies in maritime labour related conflicts, both in court and outside (extra-judicial negotiations).
Although she is loyal to our law firm’s principles to always try to find amicable solutions outside the court, she is an experienced litigation lawyer, with a regular presence in the court.
