Pino del Río Solano
Bachelor of Law from the University of Oviedo in 1995 and member of the Bar Association of Oviedo from the same year. After two years of commercial law practice with Agustín Tomé Fernández law firm, she started her career path specializing in civil and commercial law. Starting with 1999, she would focus her career on the business environment within The Regional Promotion Society of the Principality of Asturias (SRP) where she got the highest responsibility. This job role was basically within the business environment: restructuring companies in crisis, cooperation with venture capital companies, legal reviews of feasibility plans, formalization of investment operations, reporting, legal proceedings, with specific knowledge in public investment companies.
After voluntarily terminating her collaboration with SRP in 2011, she started her own legal firm specializing in commercial law, including attending to foundations and cooperative society, and providing international legal counseling to companies. In 2015 she joined, as partner, in the founding of GdP Legal, where she is responsible for the business and commercial law department, with full use of the English language as an instrument of international business law.
She was acting and he still does as insolvency administrator appointed by various judicial institutions, as an individual lawyer or through GdP Legal, in dozens of insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings in Asturias, Madrid and other cities in Spain.
She was vice-secretary and secretary in the board of directors of SRP, vice-secretary of the board of directors of the Regional Society of Tourism, secretary of the Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Center Foundation. She is member of the plenary of Oviedo Court of Arbitration, and member of the internal collegial assessment committee, created to support the new lawyers.
She is professor for Master’s Program of Law School since 2011; speaker at the workshops organized by the Asturian Society of Startups Asturvalley and by the European Center of Business and Innovation of the Principality of Asturias; manager of the commercial law seminars that the Bar Association of Oviedo organizes regularly and since 2021 she is the General Coordinator of its Study Center.
She presently holds the post of legal advisor to the board of directors of the technology company THENEXTPANGEA S.L. and is also responsible for the legal and IP area.
